Hi and welcom to my cheerleading page. My name is Lauren and I am captain of my cheerleading squad. We are a terrific team and try very hard at what we do. It takes great skill, and concentration to be a cheerleader. Many people think you have to be loud an flexible and thats all there is to it! But we all know they are wrong! It takes dedication, hard work, team work,strength, and willingness. My team meets 2wice a week, from 2:40 to 4:30 and is very determined. At a normal practice we will: practice our cheers, do jumps and stunts, lifts, and aerobics to keep us all in mint condition. Cheerleading is fun and a good way to keep in shape. If you want to start a cheerleading squad at your school you should: a) pitch your idea to you princepal b) get money or fundraising ideas from you student councel c) find a teacher to supervise d) hold try-outs GOOD LUCK AND CHEER ON! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
